Wolfson Light Microscopy Facility https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/faculty/science/research/facilities/lmf

The Wolfson Light Microscopy Facility (LMF) is an open access facility of the Faculty of Science at the University of Sheffield. It is primarily aimed at supporting research in biological subjects but also used by other departments such as chemistry and physics and faculties such Medicine and Engineering. It has a range of microscopes, including confocal (scanning and spinning disc), widefield and deconvolution microscopes. There are also two super-resolution light microscopes, one based on structured illumination (SIM), another on localisation microscopy (STORM) and a light sheet microscope. The microscopes are available to all members of the Faculty of Science. Users from outside the faculty with no access to this type of microscopy are also welcome, as are external users. Please get in touch with the Facility Manager to discuss your needs: Darren Robinson, darren.robinson@sheffield.ac.uk, tel: 0114 2224682
