Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)

Description

Model: STARe: Instrument for the thermal analysis of crystalline, liquid-crystalline, and polymer materials. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measures heat flow as a function of temperature or time. Differences in heat flow arise due to thermal events such as melting, crystallisation, chemical reactions, liquid-crystalline phase transitions, vaporisation, etc. Changes in heat capacity for example during a glass transition can also be determined.
